This privacy policy describes how FeelGoodFellows collects, uses, and protects the personal data you may provide through our platform (https://www.feelgoodfellows.com) and its associated services.

2. Data collected
We collect the following categories of data:
- Registration data: surname, first name, email address, password (encrypted), preferred language
- Profile data: profile picture, information voluntarily provided by the user
- Published content: photos, videos, and text submitted as part of competitions and quests
- Browsing data: pages visited, session duration, browser type, IP address
- Participation data: scores, rankings, votes, progression in competitions
Some data is collected automatically through cookies (see section 7).
3. Purposes and legal bases for processing
Your data is processed for the following purposes:
- Service provision (legal basis: performance of a contract): creation and management of your account, participation in competitions, display of rankings and results, communications related to the operation of the platform
- Platform improvement (legal basis: legitimate interest): analysis of service usage, bug detection and correction, improvement of user experience
- Marketing communications (legal basis: consent): sending newsletters or information about our services. You may withdraw your consent at any time
- Legal obligations (legal basis: legal obligation): compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory obligations
4. Photos and videos
The Platform allows users to publish photos and videos as part of competitions. This content may depict identifiable individuals.
- Published content is visible to other participants in the relevant competition and, where applicable, to organisers (organisations)
- The user who publishes content is responsible for having obtained the consent of any identifiable persons appearing in their photos or videos
- FeelGoodFellows acts as a hosting provider for this content and does not use it outside the normal operation of the platform
- Any user may request the removal of content depicting them by contacting us at contact@feelgoodfellows.com
5. Data sharing
Your personal data is never sold to third parties.
We may share certain data with:
- Organisations that manage a competition in which you participate: participation data, scores, content published as part of the competition
- Our technical subcontractors, strictly within the scope of service provision:
- Hosting: Heroku Inc. (Salesforce), European Union
- Image and video storage and processing: Cloudinary Ltd., United States
- Transactional email delivery: Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), France
- Audience measurement: Google Analytics (Google LLC), United States
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our subcontractors are located in the United States (notably Cloudinary and Google Analytics). These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR.
7. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: authentication, session management. These cookies do not require consent
- Audience measurement cookies: traffic and browsing analysis. These cookies are subject to your consent
You may configure your preferences via the consent banner displayed on your first visit, or at any time through the cookie settings.
8. Data retention
- Account data: retained for the duration of your registration, then deleted within 3 years of your last login
- Published content (photos, videos): retained for the duration of the competition and 1 year after its closure, unless earlier deletion is requested
- Browsing data and cookies: 13 months maximum
- Billing data: 10 years (legal accounting obligation)
9. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure: request the deletion of your data
- Right to object: object to the processing of your data on legitimate grounds
- Right to restriction: request restriction of processing in certain cases
- Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to withdraw consent: at any time, for processing based on consent

10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data: password encryption, HTTPS connections, restricted data access, regular backups.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated date. In the event of a substantial change, users will be notified by email.
