Seated on each other's laps

The game "Sitting on Each Other's Laps" is designed for medium to large groups and aims to teach the concept of trust.

To organize the game effectively, start by forming a large circle and ask each participant to place their right leg inside the circle. Then, instruct everyone to move closer to reduce the circle's size. Continue bringing participants closer until they are touching each other.

On the count of three, ask everyone to gently place their hands on the shoulders of the person in front of them and SLOWLY SIT DOWN. Some participants may hesitate initially or end up half-squatting, but when done correctly (and with trust!), everyone ends up sitting on each other's laps.

This game is an excellent icebreaker as it generates laughter, encourages trust, fosters a sense of collective achievement, and breaks down barriers between participants.

The value of this game in team building or icebreaking lies in its ability to promote cooperation, strengthen trust among group members, and create a positive and relaxed atmosphere. By sharing a physical and playful experience like this, participants learn to support each other and develop a sense of camaraderie, which is essential for building team spirit and enhancing collaboration within a team.
