Context

At a wedding with 180 guests, the couple wanted an animation that was fun, inclusive, and memorable. Their goal was to:
  • create connections between the guests,
  • gather authentic memories in photo and video,
  • and offer a strong moment without disrupting the traditional flow of the wedding.

FeelGoodFellows deployed its team photo/video challenge, a format already well-tested in companies, but here completely adapted to the atmosphere and codes of a wedding.

Objectives

  • Encourage guests to meet and interact.
  • Generate natural, sincere, and fun photos and videos.
  • Create a smooth, engaging animation that is easy to set up.
  • Integrate the couple into some challenges to enhance interactions.
  • Highlight a moment of conviviality that will become a strong memory of the wedding.

Experience Flow

1. Challenge Launch

Right from the start of the wedding, a small explanatory flyer is distributed to the guests.
Each dinner table forms a team and receives about ten challenges to complete during the afternoon.
The idea: to opt for quality over quantity, allowing guests to fully enjoy the wedding.

Only one person per team connects to the platform via their phone, which limits digital usage to the strict minimum to prioritize human interaction.

2. The Challenges (4 hours of animation)

For about 4 hours, the teams complete their photo and video challenges:
  • fun scenes,
  • creative challenges,
  • moments with the couple,
  • collaborative challenges to be completed as a team…

These activities create a natural dynamic: guests laugh, improvise, pose, imagine scenarios, and genuinely spend time together.

3. Real-time Evaluation by the Witnesses

The witnesses, divided into a small jury, each have a dedicated interface to:
  • view the productions,
  • allocate points,
  • appraise the quality and creativity of each creation.

This role enhances their involvement in the day while ensuring a smooth animation of the challenge.

4. Game Closure and Results Announcement

At the end of the allotted time, teams can no longer submit new challenges.
The scores given by the witnesses allow for the establishment of a final ranking, revealed during dinner.

The best photos and videos are projected for a particularly appreciated moment: laughter, applause, team pride… a true moment of cohesion.

And to celebrate the victory, the winning table had the honor of welcoming the couple at their side for part of the meal.

Results

Feedback was unanimously positive:

For the guests:

  • A real moment of team camaraderie.
  • An original and fun animation that immediately brought everyone together.
  • Numerous laughs and spontaneous memories.

For the couple:

  • A highlight that punctuated the entire afternoon.
  • An opportunity to meet the guests through challenges that required their participation.
  • A complete gallery of authentic, fun, natural, and varied photos and videos, much richer than a simple classic album.

For the organization:

  • A smooth animation, without heavy logistics.
  • A minimal use of digital tools: just what is needed to submit challenges and maintain the experience.
  • An increased involvement of the witnesses, who actively contributed to the smooth running of the challenge.

Conclusion

Thanks to this photo/video animation, the wedding benefited from a unifying, creative, and joyful moment.
The mechanics of the challenge created strong bonds between guests, involved the couple at the heart of the action, and produced a multitude of highly rich visual memories.

FeelGoodFellows demonstrates that its playful and participatory format can transform a personal event into a true collective experience, while never overshadowing the emotion and spontaneity of the moment.
